The USS Silversides Submarine Museum was created to honor the men and women in the military and preserve their history and experiences. Silversides received 12 battle stars for WWII and was awarded 1 Presidential Unit Citation. The submarine is known to have sunk 23 ships in total.
Not only can you visit the Silverside Submarine, but you can also stay overnight! When you stay, you will sleep in the same berth as the sailors who served our country and explore the submarine!
The museum is open from 10 AM to 5:30 PM Sundays-Saturdays. Active duty military are free!
